Individual Counselling

Individual counselling, also known as therapy, offers you the opportunity to meet one-on-one in a safe, confidential, and non-judgemental space.

This is your space to explore whatever you need—even if you’re not quite sure what that is yet. I will support you in gently clarifying what feels important for you and your healing, and in working through thoughts, emotions, and relational patterns. You’re always invited to share at your own pace and in a way that feels comfortable.

I may offer strategies, tools, and reflections along the way, but this space remains yours. You have the freedom to choose what feels right for you—to lean into what resonates and leave what doesn’t.

The goal of individual counselling is to support you in developing deeper insight into your experiences, building effective coping skills, and enhancing your overall sense of well-being.

Is individual counselling right for me?

Individual counselling provides help for a wide range of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, and trauma. It also is a space for you to work through the natural sense of stress, isolation, grief, and exhaustion that we all experience as humans living in these incredibly frenetic and unstable times. Over time, individual therapy supports you to improve your communication skills, set compassionate boundaries, and better navigate relationships and conflict.

Individual therapy helps you connect with a sense of inner knowing and stability, leading to greater self-awareness and personal growth. Whether you would like to address what is keeping you feeling stuck and overwhelmed, or continue to expand on an already meaningful path, we will work together towards your truest self and most fulfilling life.

How long does the process take?

How long depends on you and your intention for therapy. If you are looking for short term therapy you can expect approximately 6-12 sessions that focus on practical solutions. With longer term therapy (12 sessions +) you can expect to work at a deeper and more nuanced level to address longstanding patterns and work towards a more whole and fulfilling life. I recommend regular appointments and consistency, especially at first, however, I understand and respect that this may not be realistic for everyone. Ultimately, it is up to you. You do not need to know now, you are always welcome to change the frequency of your sessions or discontinue therapy at any time.

I AM HERE TO SUPPORT YOU

I offer a compassionate approach that honours you as a whole person, not just the difficulties you may be experiencing.
