Depth-Oriented Group Supervision

Clinical supervision with a depth-psychological flair.

In this group, we will explore bridging Jungian and depth-oriented theory to clinical practice.

Led by Liana Yip, MA, MCP, RCC-ACS. Liana is an Approved Clinical Supervisor with the BCACC and holds both a master's in counselling psychology from Adler University and a master's degree in depth psychology with a specialization in Jungian and archetypal studies from Pacifica Graduate Institute.

This is a closed group, with 5 participants max.

Who is this group for?

Master’s-level counselling and mental health professionals, e.g., RCCs’s, RSW’s, and CCC’s, students in practicum placements; and those needing hours for BCACC registration.

Those who have a basic understanding of Jungian and depth-oriented work.
Those who would like to explore bridging depth-oriented theory to clinical practice.
Participants are seeing adults in their practice in an individual 1:1 setting (this group is not geared towards working with children, couples, or families).
Please note: Participants must carry their own current insurance and meet with Liana for a 20-minute initial consultation prior to the start date. If you are a student, these hours do not count towards practicum hours. Groups need a minimum of 3 participants to run; you will be refunded if this requirement is not met.

What makes this group supervision unique?

Psychoeducational component, incorporating concepts and themes from a Jungian, depth-oriented lens.
Exploration of depth-oriented concepts and themes, bridging them to concrete applications to cases that you bring.
A focus on transference, countertransference, and the relational field between you and your clients.
Each group will include exercises to explore and connect with unconscious parts of your own psyche that are being activated by the work and explore next steps for your own growth as a counsellor.
Small group size and consistent group participants cultivate a safe container for the depth of the work.
